Airsoft guns have many moving parts which require proper lubrication to function at peak performance. Silicone oil is generally used to keep inner barrels clean and is the best for cylinder, piston and so on. Airsoft AEGs require gear grease to ensure proper cycling of the mechanical box. Compression grease maximizes air seal and ensure that they function well and last a long time. Proper lubrication helps prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of airsoft guns.
