Your sleeping system should perform when conditions are demanding. Performance sleeping bags, covers, bivis and tents. Each offering a different specification and materials for demanding conditions and with inbuilt comfort.

H/H = Hydro static head. The waterproof capability.   A material has to be at least 1500mm H/H. To be classed as 100% waterproof.

I.E Gore-Tex has minimum rating of 20,000mm. But how the fabric is seamed will determine how well it performs.
